Gina Alm she/her

Gina is a multi-disciplinary artist, teacher & performer living in NYC. She is a pole dancer & choreographer, performing and showing work at a multitude of venues across NYC & internationally. She is also a full time pole dance instructor at Body & Pole in midtown Manhattan. 

Gina is a Resident Artist at The Box NYC. She performs in clubs and in variety theater/nightlife throughout NYC (House of YES, The Slipper Room, DROM, Brooklyn Art Haus, The McKittrick Hotel & more). She has choreographed and performed pole dance in Musical Theater (PIPPIN @ Vanguard Theater Company) as well as toured her own evening-length duo aerial pole dance show, DUSK/NIGHT/DAWN, throughout NYC and Europe with her collective — Vertical Dreamscape.

Her martial arts (tae-kwon-do) background is a major influence on her crisp yet fluid pole dance style. Gina is constantly learning new dance and circus disciplines to expand her pole practice and improve her technique. She approaches performance with a background in visual/multimedia art (BA in Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania) and a true passion for storytelling. She is always looking for opportunities to feature and incorporate pole dance in new theatrical contexts.
